THE TROUBLE WITH JAY (2017)
Animated sitcom for adults about the fictional former child star, Jason Bates. Eight episodes (25 mins each). Aimed at the Adult Swim demographic. Back in 1995, Jay was the hottest teen ticket in town — the young star of the classic soap opera "Now & Then", where he played the unbelievably cute kid, FRANKIE. The world was at his feet. Fast-forward to 2017 - for the last year or so Jay has been working as the Chicken Hut mascot, "Chuckie the Chicken". The roles have completely dried up. Jay puts it down to his ‘unique look’. He just can’t catch a break. Jay’s life is turned upside-down when he gets fired as Chuckie for a frustrated outburst at a kid’s party (“You don’t know me. None of you do. None of you know what I’ve been through!”) and is forced to move back in with his pushy parents, MIKE and DAWN — back to his to his childhood bedroom, race-car bed n all. Series One follows Jay’s struggle with mediocrity and his attempts to find that one role that will catapult him back into the limelight. Can he stick out the normal life or is he destined for greatness again?

LORD OF THE MANOR (2019)
Pilot screenplay (sitcom). A young, spoiled, British Lord with an overly-sophisticated palate is desperate to rise up the ranks of the new British ruling class in rural 19th century Ireland but his plans are thwarted when his parents — the Earl and Countess of Gloster — are sent to prison for what is now known as “swinging”. Stripped of his title and all privileges, Dickie moves in with a family of Irish peasants and must rebuild is life, one soggy potato at a time.
